In the Research and Development, Kaohsiung Medical University has achieved considerable results in cancer-related research. In order to develop human-oriented major cancer-oriented applied research, the Cancer Research Centre has been set up. Its main task is to integrate basic and human research resources and actively seek close cooperation with top academic institutions and scholars at home and abroad. The role of education is rooted in order to have a deeper discussion of common and endemic cancers in Taiwan, and to provide directions and answers for cancer prevention, treatment and prognosis evaluation. And actively provide training to KMU graduate students, young teachers and physicians who are engaged in cancer research, hoping to bring KMU into the top international position in cancer research related fields.
